“3KAYA”

“3KAYA” is an interactive installation that uses sound and visuals to evoke the most natural reflection on oneself. The project encourages introspection and gives people a chance to consider how their actions affect the surroundings.

Exhibited at the “Yiraera Snackbar Takeover” exhibition in Seoul, Korea, organized by the Rotterdam-based art collective “ROOT”.

“Objects with Feelings” installation in collaboration with @droom.iris

“Objects with feelings” is a project created in collaboration with Rotterdam-based graphic designer @droom.iris. The project is about bringing out the personality of ordinary objects as we see it, through colour and shape.

The project features a riso-printed magazine, with an interactive audiovisual installation.

Exhibited at the “Yiraera Snackbar Takeover” exhibition in Seoul, Korea, organized by the Rotterdam-based art collective “ROOT”.

“Basleidingen”

“Basleidingen” explores ‘The Sound of the City’ by accentuating the low frequencies that permeate urban environments, inspired by a phenomenon known as “The Hum”. Often regarded as mysterious, these sounds are believed to originate from various sources that contribute to the city’s unique character.

Through ‘Basleidingen’ we unveil the allure and mystery of this phenomenon by repurposing Amsterdam’s water pipes to amplify resonant frequencies, creating an auditory experience that represents the essence of Amsterdam and its mysterious ‘Hum’.

The interactive installation features an ‘Idle State’ where a controlled feedback loop replicates the movement of water once coursing through these pipes. The audience can disrupt this ‘Idle State’ by striking the pipes, allowing them to hear the authentic resonance of “The Hum”.

In collaboration with Gilles van Arkel & Stan van Dijk

Exhibited at “De Nijverheid” in Utrecht, The Netherlands.
